It is more expensive than similarly sized air conditioners, but it has a 12-inch profile, which means that more sunlight can enter a room and it's a bit easier to install. The LG LP6000ER has a remote control, digital display and timer to control temperature settings. If there is a power outage, an automatic-restart feature starts the unit again. If saving money is more important than a low profile, reviews recommend the 6,000-BTU Frigidaire FAA065P7A (Discontinued). It is cheaper and has the same power.
