Experts praise the all-terrain Britax B-Scene (*Est. $400) for its maneuverability, comfort for adults and children, and versatile styling. A modular three-wheeler, the B-Scene comes as a stroller frame that includes one large seat to accommodate babies from 6 months through 55 pounds, with an option to attach a bassinet or the Britax Chaperone infant car seat. Reviewers particularly like its easy-to-use braking system, which indicates if the brake is on or off with a red or green indicator.
The only complaint we found in expert reviews of the B-Scene is that the lap bar is foam-covered, so it can be chewed on and possibly damaged by riders. It also doesn't come with child cupholders, which are sold separately. This doesn't seem to bother reviewers, but could be a deal-breaker for parents who are accustomed to cup or bottle holders and child trays and may dislike having to pay for accessories when the stroller itself is already expensive. The B-Scene was released by Britax in late 2010, so the public doesn't seem to have found their way to it yet, but if expert reviews continue to be overwhelmingly positive, they will. For those who like the features of the Britax B-Scene but don't want to shell out the money for a luxury stroller, the Jeep Liberty Limited (*Est. $160) is worth a look.
We found the best reviews of the Britax B-Scene at StrollerQueen.com and BabyGizmo.com. It was put through its paces in real-world situations, as well as tested for ease of use in assembling and disassembling various included and optional accessories. We found just a few owner reviews, but that's not unusual for a relatively pricey stroller that's new to the market.
