The Qtro from Dutch stroller manufacturer EasyWalker is a four-wheeled update of the three-wheeled EasyWalker Sky. Other changes made to appeal to American consumers include a lower price, car seat adapters and lockable front wheels. It's compatible with the Maxi-Cosi infant car seat.
Experts and owners like the EasyWalker Qtro for its many features and excellent maneuverability on a variety of terrain. In particular, the Qtro earns high praise for its large canopy with sunshade and unique zipper recline system. It's adaptable with an optional carrycot and car seat. We found no complaints about this stroller online, although one expert site points out that because it isn't widely available in the U.S., it's difficult for consumers to comparison-shop. In fact, the well-reviewed BOB Revolution SE (*Est. $313) may appeal to parents who prefer a more widely available model.
We found the only in-depth expert review of the Qtro at StrollerQueen.com, where Janet McLaughlin reviews strollers in real-world situations. BabyBargains.com discusses the Qtro in an outdated review, but does offer useful information on the EasyWalker brand. There's little feedback from owners, which isn't unusual for a pricey stroller that isn't widely available.
Consumers may be put off by the EasyWalker brand because information on these strollers is so difficult to obtain. We attempted to open the product manuals available on the company's website on several types of computers (Mac and PC) and various operating systems, but they simply aren't in a readable format. There's no phone contact listed on the site, so we sent several emails requesting information on the Qtro, including warranty data, exact weights, information on the "easyboard" (which is mentioned on the site but seems to have no further explanation anywhere else) and brake specifications. We received no reply. Consumers may well be wary of purchasing a product that appears to have no manufacturer support.
