NORTON INTERNET SECURITY 2009, November 14, 2009
I own why to many computers so just the fact that you can install it on 3 computers was a huge plus...I am using it now on a 3 year old Gateway XP laptop...It installed very easily and does what Norton does...I used Kapersky on my newer laptops but prior to Kapersky I have always used Norton..Its easy to understand...easy to update...easy to install...The price was fantactic...NOT FOR WINDOWS 7...
A good reliable internet security package, November 11, 2009

I was a bit apprehensive about using another Norton product since past versions have been such resource hogs that they slowed my computer down to an unacceptable level. But this version seems to have risen above that and I have noticed very little interference from the product and no noticeable slowdown at all. It has a wealth of features and seems to work fine using the default settings for the multitude of options. Updates are handled during "idle time", which I think means when the user is not performing some task. Overall I have been very satisfied with the performance of the product. One exception, which is not really a major concern to me, is the spam filter doesn't seem to work. I can create a spam list but the messages still show up in my inbox and not in the Norton Spam Folder. I am pretty sure that there is an option I don't have set correctly but it just isn't worth the trouble to find it. I usually recognize spam and just delete it. This is a good buy for an excellent piece of software.

Old version works fine, October 20, 2009
I have use Norton for years, this "old version" of the 2009 Internet Security is different, simpler and as far as i know, still does the job. Ahhhhh!!!! this versión had a license for three equipments, the hole family.
EXELLENT COME BACK NORTON!!!, October 15, 2009

In my years experience as a PC Tech there were many times that I would need to format the HDD to remove this product, not to mention it being a resource hog and simply bogging down the computer. Norton has finally hired come competent programmers and have produced an excellent product in reference to the Norton Internet Security 2009, 2010 is even better! I highly recommend NIS 2009 and 2010! Great work Norton!!!
