Very easy to use., November 12, 2009great value - works for what I need, November 10, 2009Bought this on black friday last year and am still pleased with it. It's worked very well and I like the step by step options the best. this works very well for me and our kids can help locate things… when I'm driving so I'd say it is pretty easy to operate. It also plays MP3's and used that feature on a flight and had plenty of power left. As an experiment, I turned it on while on the plane and it tracked that we were going 500+ mph. It even was able to identify the airport in Japan!
unit can't acquire a satellite, November 2, 2009Works for about a year, October 19, 2009GOOD DEVICE, October 19, 2009This is a good device. I just use it for basic GPS usage finding directions. Like the go home feature which allows you to set your home location and then just make a few clicks before it sends you on your… way home. I know there are some nice features (audio books, mp3 but have not done too much with them). on the negative side however, it does take some time to acquire satellites (from 2 to 15 minutes). Need to work with tech support on this one. Very frustrating at times.

Craig Ellison offers a review that is solid in many regards, but is now dated. Ellison notes that the Garmin nüvi 350 appears to be the first GPS unit to use the SiRFstar III chip; now, that technology is standard. Ellison's finding that the nüvi 350 is the best in its class is no longer accurate.
