Sassy's MAM Anti-Colic baby bottles, formerly called MAM UltiVent bottles, get excellent feedback from parents posting to user-review sites. Of primary importance is the fact that they're free of bisphenol A, a controversial chemical used to make plastic hard and clear. The only other common concern is the number of pieces: There are six parts to disassemble, wash and reassemble for each feeding. On the other hand, parents do like the fact that everything comes apart for thorough cleaning. If you're concerned about BPA content but don't want a complicated baby bottle, the Evenflo Classic Glass Nurser (*Est. $7 for three 8-oz. bottles) has an ultra-simple design popular with parents whose babies don't need vents, special nipples or other anti-colic features. If, on the other hand, colic is big concern, reviewers tend to recommend Dr. Brown's Natural Flow bottles (Est. $10 for three 8-oz. bottles), which are available with or without bisphenol A.
We found good information on Sassy MAM Anti-Colic baby bottles from the many parents and caregivers posting to user-review sites. The top two -- Target.com and Amazon.com -- have more than 100 posts between them, but smaller sites such as Viewpoints.com and The Soft Landing blog are worth a look as well. Video reviews at ExpoTV.com are a good complement to the usual text-based reviews, and they're especially useful for demonstrating this bottle's love-it-or-hate-it feature -- its six individually washable components.

Amazon.com is generally a good place to look for baby-gear user reviews, and you'll find more than 25 user-submitted write-ups on the MAM baby bottle here.

2. ExpoTV.com
ExpoTV.com doesn't have the review volume of text-based user-review sites, but the video format can be very effective for demonstrating a product's strengths and weaknesses. At the time of our visit there were only a couple of reviews of the Sassy MAM, both of which discuss the bottle's multi-part assembly and the BPA issue.

Viewpoints.com is a fairly new review site with a particularly user-friendly design. Unfortunately it hasn't yet accumulated many Sassy MAM baby-bottle reviews. Parents who do post give the MAM decent ratings so far, highlighting its color options and baby-friendly nipple shape along with the fact that it's free of bisphenol A.
