Expert reviewers as well as parents give the Whisper Connect Pro an average score overall. Interestingly, owner reviews tend to be either very positive or very negative, with little middle ground. Some parents complain that static is a problem and that the volume can be too low. We found better reviews overall for the Graco Ultra Clear II (*Est. $40), which also comes with two parent receivers.

Both the book "Baby Bargains" and Consumer Reports include the Evenflo Whisper Connect Pro 900 MHz baby monitor in their comparative reviews. Consumer Reports, with its independent testing and well-defined results, has the best coverage. Baby Bargains is somewhat less helpful in that it groups all of a manufacturer's models together rather than rating baby monitors individually, but its comparative ratings and detailed information make it an excellent source of information as well.

Amazon.com has about two dozen reviews of the Whisper Connect 900MHz, but enough owners have posted reviews to make the site worth a visit. Very high and very low scores average out to a poor overall rating for the baby monitor.
