Constantly loses signal and beeps -- HORRIBLE!, November 17, 2009

Occasionally, the monitor works just fine, but this only lasts for a day or two. Then, we will have SEVERAL days where there is loud static -- but that's only during the few seconds that the receiver has a connection. The rest of the time, the lights turn red and the receiver emits the most annoying beeping sound that makes it impossible to sleep. I've even tried carrying the receiver into the nursery, and it still doesn't pick up a signal. Makes no sense. We are going to have to buy a new monitor because this one is unpredictable and, for the most part, unusable. I would give this product a negative rating if that was possible.

Shocked to see so many neg reviews - we have loved it for nearly 2 years, November 16, 2009

I am really shocked to see so many negative review of these. We have been using them for nearly two years and think they are really great. I suspect the difference is that we rarely take them out of the charging cradle, so battery life is not as much of an issue. That said, we have never had an issue with the battery running out when we spend time in the backyard or whatnot. The mic is very sensitive and picks up every sound in the room - which is great. The vibrate feature can be set to vibrate at variable levels. We have found the range in our single family home to be perfectly adequate to cover our entire half acre property. Rarely there is some clicking, but only when at the edge of the range. There is even an out of range tone and light. I deducted one star because joining new units to the system is a major PITA. We have three monitors spread throughout the house.

Bad Battery, November 1, 2009
The battery life of these units are very poor. Each charge will only last 2-3 hrs.
Hope you dont have a wireless network at your home., October 28, 2009
This product was nice at first it let me move around the house and hear my child. But, soon the battery faded and wouldn't hold a charge. the worst part was it sounds like your watching static on your tv. spend a little more money for one that will last.
Don't waste your money, October 22, 2009
The Graco monitor is ok, but not really what we were looking for. The monitor clicks repeatedly and makes lots of noise even if there is no movement in the babies room. The range is also not as good as advertised. I would say that 500 feet is stretching it.

3. Amazon.com

Overall, Amazon.com is the best source of user reviews for baby monitors. Graco's iMonitor is one of the top-selling models on Amazon.com, but its ratings aren't outstanding. In well over 100 owner-written reviews, the iMonitor averages only a middling score.
