Great Swing!, November 19, 2009
This is a great swing. My newborn is a bit fussy and doesn't like to be put down but she will always sleep in her swing.
Really love the design BUT PURPLE is for girls, November 18, 2009

I bought this for my son thinking it was blue and I when I opened the box is was cleary a pretty shade of lavander. The pictures and description on line were not that clear on the color but it is in fact Purple. The star feature that the mobile is very sweet romantic and dreamy. I exchanged it for the little lamb which I think looks gender nuetral. If I had a girl I would have kept it.

If you haven't got one, you better get it!, November 18, 2009
When nothing else seems to work to quiet a baby who is uncomfortable, this soothing masterpiece does the job to return the household to normalcy. I would recommend you get this for the comfort of you baby and your own.
Swings too fast/hard for a newborn, November 17, 2009
Overall a pretty nice swing. Very cute, and all of the features are nice. My only complaint is that the lowest setting on the swing is still a bit faster than one would like. I think that as our baby ages and gets heavier, it will slow the swing down a bit and we will utilize the swinging feature at that point. She is only 7.4 lbs right now.
N1973 not worth that price, November 12, 2009

We purchased the N1973 Nature's Touch Papasan Swing used. It's a great swing - but don't be fooled into thinking it's anything superior because of it's high price tag. It's just been discontinued and some sellers reserve the right to overcharge for something that's a little harder to find. This swing is definitely not worth more than $120 brand new. LOVE: The papasan style of this swing provides ample space for my VERY chunky baby to spread out and relax while he's sleeping. Fabric is very plush and soft. Great variety of music/sounds, good volume control. Wonderful options for side to side or front to back motion. DISLIKE: World's most boring mobile. Mirror is sort of a carnival/fish bowl style - giving a pretty warped reflection. No AC adapter so you're forced to burn through expensive D batteries.

Target stocks the Butterfly Garden version of the Fisher-Price Papasan Swing, functionally identical to the Starlight version, with variations in color and theme. Among those who aren't happy with the swing, most say that it's too noisy, but we also read a few stories about infants who were able to wiggle out of the harness on their own.
