This item takes a lot of the worrying out of dieting-- with cheaper, spring loaded scales, there is always a question of accuracy. With a balance-style scale such as this, you know what you weigh-- there… is no question. The quality is fantastic, easy to set up and a real bargain at this price!! One of the best investments I've ever made, especially when you consider it's an investment in your health, and your future.

After years of using a dial type scale, I got tired of squinting to read results and needing to constantly adjust the zero point. I wanted something consistently accurate. This scale is well-made, easy to… calibrate, and easy to read. It does not have the wild fluctations associated with the usual household scale. The price is attractive and easily what I have spent on unsatisfactory "bathroom" scales! Very pleased!

I was a bit concerned about the very few reviews that talked about getting their scales in damaged packages. Also, some folks talked about the scale being hard to put together. All I can say is that my… experience was excellent. The scale arrived very quickly, so there was no problem there. The box was in good condition, and I certainly didn't feel like it was something that had been refurbished, etc. Seems brand new and was in great condition. Putting it together was simple, so there isn't a whole lot of need for extra instructions. I'm quite sure what some folks were complaining about, but I guess maybe for some it did not seem as intuitive. However, you do need a spot or kitchen table where you can lay down the top part. All that has to be done then is a little hook down the center (from the top part) is hooked into a small circle on the base. Then four screws need to be bolted. Really, it's quite simple. And from what I can tell, it is accurate. It made us a pound lighter than the digital scale makes us, and that's a Health---meter too. But, the digital scale before that made us five pounds lighter--it's a missed scale. All in all, great product. I feel like I'm actually getting an accurate reading now.
