Great but noisy blender at bargain price, October 21, 2009
Pros: Does its job better - faster and more completely and with less mess than any other blender we've used - including ones that sell for 3 times its price.
Cons: Cheap construction. Very noisy - sounds like a leaf blower when it runs.
Bottom line: if you can live with the noise it's a great bargain.
excellent product.. no complaints so far, September 21, 2009
I have purchased this product b/c of all the great reviews it had received. I can now add my own to it. It works great, have had no problems with it. Very reliable product, and I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of purchasing it.
Does the job, July 12, 2009
Had his a couple of days now and it's doing the job. Particularly good at crushing ice for protein smoothies. Only takes a couple seconds and there are no ice chunks present. The colors have changed from photo to a gray face place with white and gray buttons. The little green buttons are now gray. It's noisy but works much quicker than the $100 kitchenaid it's replacing.
Works great, July 5, 2009
Fairly noisy but it was to be expected. It's a great deal for blender.
Still going strong - 1 year later!, May 22, 2009

This blender gets used several times a week. I selected the brand Oster because my mom's food processor has lasted her about a decade, and shows no signs of wearing down anytime soon. I received this blender in June 2008. I use it for a variety of things: - Fruit Smoothies - Thick Milkshakes - Homemade Frosting - Margaritas - Other Recipes It is easy to use, dishwasher safe (a MUST in my house), and it looks great if you leave it out on the counter. I was surprised at the quietness of this blender. No blender can be silent, but this is much quieter than I had anticipated. I would recommend this to anyone who uses a blender, whether it's daily or a few times a year. Enjoy!
