Agony of the feet

After several Pampered Toes sightings, our staff decided to personally put this product to the test. A few editors stepped forward to volunteer, literally putting their feet on the line for the sake of good journalism. Sadly, like many As Seen on TV products, Pampered Toes just wasn't what it promised to be.
So, after the dust settled (and our folks finally regained the feeling back in their feet), we were left wondering: Surely, there must be a less expensive way to soothe sore, tired feet?
Well, guess what? There is -- and it's MD-approved and absolutely free.
The solution, which comes by way of Dr. Suzanne Levine, seasoned New York City podiatrist and author of such books as "My Feet Are Killing Me!" and "Your Feet Don't Have To Hurt", is shockingly simple.  "Instead of cramming your feet into Pampered Toes-like devices, which can chronically stress the nerves and overstretch the delicate ligaments in your toes," Levine says, "try doing this easy stretch once daily.
Insert your fingers between the toes of one foot, then gently stretch them toward the soles of your foot and hold for 15 seconds. Then, reverse the stretch, pushing your toes toward the top of your foot for the same amount of time. Then, repeat this process on your other foot.
The result: Relaxed, great-feeling feet in seconds -- and you don't have to spend a single cent.
Now that's what we call a good deal...
