Are Bumpits the next Snuggie?
We wrote our review of Bumpits a couple of months ago, but something is in the air. Real beauty magazines seem to be embracing the Bumpits (for those who aren't watching enough TV, Bumpits are half-moon-shaped combs that give you a "big hair" look). And from early reactions of chintzy horror, a slow acceptance seems to be taking hold.
Have you seen Ellen DeGeneres trying to install Bumpits in Jenna Fischer's hair?
Some of the girls at Glamour magazine have tried Bumpits with some success. And Elle editors report that Bumpits are the secret behind Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf's big hair.
Among real people trying to create the Bumpits look,we found a pretty even 50/50 split in opinion. For every Bumpits fan, there's another who can't their hair to look right no matter how hard they try. What's your opinion? Are Bumpits one way to skip an expensive salon updo or are they a waste of $10?
