Choices are slim, but some surprisingly good performers remain available and most are relatively inexpensive.
The best of the bunch is the Channel Master CM-7000 -- so widely liked by experts and users alike that the manufacturer recently brought it back into production. If you want a digital TV converter to use with a VCR or DVD recorder, the Zinwell ZAT-970A has to be a top consideration thanks to its multiple built-in timers.
