CES is all about high-tech doo-dads, but I'm not sure this qualifies: A company called Ion is showing off its version of a Snuggie, only β wait for it β it's electric!! Yup, it's a cross between an electric blanket and a Snuggie called the Coz-e, dubbed the "Heated Blanket with Sleeves!"
I didn't try it out, but I did pull one out of the box. The Coz-e is a lot smaller than a Snuggie, more the size of a smallish throw. It only comes in blue and it's made of the same type of low-quality fleece as the Snuggie. On the upside, I couldn't feel all the wires inside like you can with some electric blankets.
The Coz-e might be okay as a sort-of silly gift or an impulse buy for chilly moments on the couch, but get this: the Coz-e costs almost $70!!
What do you think? Would you pay 70 bucks for an electrified Snuggie?
