Baby gear is one of those areas where you can spend $100 or $1,000, but reviewers say you just don't need to spend big bucks on a high chair.
While we found sporadic recommendations for fancy designer chairs like the Boon Flair Pedestal Chair (pictured at left), we actually found stronger support for cheaper high chairs.
For example, we found the best reviews for the $100 Fisher-Price Rainforest High Chair, long considered an excellent standard high chair. The Fisher-Price Space Saver High Chair also gets great consumer reviews. This chair has no legs; rather, it straps to one of your existing dining-room chairs. Parents say this is a great option for a cramped kitchen or for those who just don't want a huge plastic high chair lurking in the dining room.
