ConsumerSearch editorial staff, Summer 2011

Throughout all of our Black Friday coverage there is one common theme: a "deal" isn't always a deal, but then again, sometimes it really is.

Sound complicated? Well to the average Black Friday shopper it can be hard to know the difference. That is where ConsumerSearch's expert editorial staff (pictured at left) comes into the picture to help. After combing through the sale circulars from major retailers for weeks, we know the scoop on what consumers should buy on Black Friday and what they should stay away from.

Consumer electronics editor, Molly McLaughin has uncovered some major scores on smartphones for Black Friday; but she also found a few not-so-hot iPod alarm "sales." Carl Laron, electronics editor, warns consumers to stay away from this home theater projector. However, he also knows when to take advantage of a great opportunity, such as Black Friday deals on televisions and Blu-ray players. Same goes for the other experts on staff who have the breakdown on advertised sales for coffee makers, external hard drives, electronic toothbrushes and more.

But we aren't just writing blog posts with this information; we are here to be a trusted and approachable resource for you. Through Black Friday and the rest of the holiday shopping season, our expert editors are on call to answer your questions on what you should buy and why.

You can leave a comment on this blog, tweet us on Twitter using the #CSExperts hashtag or fire away on our Facebook page. No matter where you find us, we will do our best to give non-biased and expert advice so your holiday shopping doesn't leave you baffled and stressed.
