Acer Aspire One D250 Acer Aspire One D250: No, it doesn't look like you'll be able to buy one for $150, but the Black Friday prices we've seen for this netbook are still pretty good. The Acer Aspire One D250 runs Windows XP, comes with a 10.1-inch display, 160 GB hard drive and 1 GB of memory. It's our pick as the best budget netbook, and it gets solid professional and user reviews. You can score the Acer Aspire One D250 for $200 on Black Friday from Office Depot. If you can't wait, the Acer Aspire is available at $199 as part of a pre-Black Friday sale (through Wednesday Nov. 25) at Target, and the store is throwing in a free neoprene sleeve. Those prices are $90 to $100 less than the netbook's normal selling price.

ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-EU1X: Retailer hhgregg (a regional chain serving some Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest states) is offering this stylish netbook at $200, which again is a $90 to $100 savings over its normal selling price. Specs are similar to the Acer Aspire One D250, and include a 10.1-inch display, 160 GB hard drive and 1 GB of memory. Reviews for the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-EU1X are good as well, though most test the netbook with a longer-lasting battery than the one offered here, which is rated for just four hours of use (typical among budget netbooks).

Compaq Mini 110c: Best Buy comes through with the cheapest "full-featured" netbook deal we've seen. The Compaq Mini 110c-1000DX being offered at $180 is essentially identical to the HP Mini 110, which has received decent reviews. This netbook sold out very quickly at Amazon.com's Black Friday Week sale price of $200, drawing lots of ire from disappointed customers. The specs are similar to most netbooks in its price range, and include a 160 GB hard drive, 1 GB of memory and a 10.1-inch screen. A bonus is a one year Spy Sweeper with Anti-Virus subscription. At this price, the 110c comes with Windows XP Home, but Best Buy is also offering a version (Compaq Mini 110c-1105DX) with Windows 7 Starter and a 250 GB hard drive for $230.
