H&M recalled 2,900 chidren's water bottles because the spout can break off during use, posing a choking hazard. The company received one such report of the spout breaking off while a child was drinking from it, though no injuries. The recalled 16 oz. plastic bottles, in either pink crackle or blue, were sold at H&M stores with children's departments nationwide from July 2012 through August 2012. True Innovations recalled 8,400 Prestigio Office Chairs because seat plate can break, posing fall and injury hazards to users. The firm has received 78 reports of the seat plate breaking, including one fall injury. The $250 chairs were sold exclusively at Office Depot stores nationwide and online at OfficeDepot.com from October 2008 through February 2011. In auto safety

Ford recalled some 5,500 2012 Edge vehicles manufactured from September 2, 2010, through October 31, 2011, and equipped with 2.0L engines. The fuel line pulse damper metal housing may crack, posing a fire hazard. Ford will notify owners beginning on or about September 24, 2012, and dealers will repair the vehicles free of charge. Luxe car lines aren't immune from recalls. This week Lamborghini recalled nearly 1,500 2004-2006 model year Gallardo and Spyder vehicles because the high pressure steering pipes near the steering assistance hydraulic system pump might leak, posing a fire hazard. Lamborghini has begun notifying owners, and dealers will update the power steering system free of charge. Owners may contact Lamborghini at (866) 681-6276.

Several manufacturers and grocers issued recalls related to Splendid Products' Daniella mango recall of late August, out of concern for salmonella contamination:

And there's a new cantaloupe recall, with concerns over salmonella contamination, this time by DFI Marketing. The cantaloupes were distributed to retailers in 21 states from August 27 to September 10, 2012. In the recall, the firm states, "due to the perishable nature of cantaloupe, the majority of this recalled product is no longer in commerce." In a related recall, Cut Fruit Express recalled various packaged fresh cut fruit.

Lastly, Spartan Stores is recalling various deli products, for possible listeria contamination.
