Ice cream, or some version of it, has been around since the second century B.C., according to the International Dairy Foods Association. With a history that stretches that far back into time, it isn't surprising that today about a billion and a half gallons of ice cream are produced each year. With the heat of summer upon us, we thought there was no better time then now to delve into the greatness of ice cream.
