2010 Chevrolet Corvette Q&A: You ask, we answer

This is the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. As I write this, it's out in my driveway. If you're expecting a traditional review, well... you won't get one. Instead, we'd like to hear your questions about the car, and we'll answer them. Heck, if we don't know a particular answer firsthand, we'll go to an expert who does. And please don't be shy: there are no bad or silly questions.

To submit your burning queries, visit our Facebook page at http://facebook.com/consumersearch. There, you'll find our first couple of entries about the car. You can post questions directly to our wall or as comments to any of the Vette posts or photos on Facebook. (Remember to hit the "Like" button and become a fan while you're there. That way, you'll see when your questions get answered.)

We understand that not everyone's on Facebook, so feel free to ask questions in the comments at the bottom of this blog post. Heck, you can ask us on Twitter as well -- just use #CSVette as a hashtag so it stands out.

We'll post answers on Facebook throughout the week, and next Friday, we'll package up all the Q&A in a blog post that you'll see in this space.

C'mon. Have some fun. Wanna know how good the cupholders are? Fair game. Any question is. We'll answer to the best of our abilities, and we'll illustrate with photos whenever possible.

The manufacturer supplied a 2010 Chevrolet Corvette for the purposes of this evaluation.

Thanks to the big time differential, Day 1's basically over now, so we can weigh in with a quick synopsis of some stuff you might actually find interesting, along with some links to sites where you can follow the show in much greater detail.

Find your inner Andretti: Sports cars for every budget

A hot-looking, high-performing sports car isn't some unattainable dream, experts say. After all, the excellent new Nissan 370Z is priced like a family sedan. Reviewers say the Z car has matured since its previous incarnation, the 350Z, boasting markedly improved performance, a better-quality interior, voluptuous lines, and sharper handling. A rev-matching feature available for manual gearbox-equipped cars lets anyone make perfect downshifts like a race driver every single time. But the Z isn't the only sports car drawing raves from the experts...
