Summer is here. You might be ready for the beach, but is your smartphone prepared? Whether you're touting an iPhone, iPod, Android smartphone, iPad or Kindle, Dry Case has a waterproof case for your device. The company's patented vacuum seal technology assures that Dry Cases are waterproof up to 100 feet. The DryCASE custom fits any phone, camera or MP3 player. Waterproof Flip Phone Case by Aquapac ($39.99)
Waterproof cases for flip phones are hard to find, but Aquapac offers one that protects your phone AND allows you to open and close your phone as you normally would. Signal and sound are similarly transmitted through the cover, which is up to 15 feet waterproof. If you drop the case in the water, it will float. Amphibian Waterproof Case for iPhone 4S/iPhone 4 by Inno Pocket ($29.99)
What makes this case unique is its 2-in-1 design; the polycarbonate inner shell can be used as a normal hard case, while the outer shell protects against water and sand. Whether you're mountain biking in the rain or kayaking at the lake, the case allows you to continue using your phone as normal. You can take videos underwater thanks to a cutout at the back; the case is submersible up to 9.9 feet.
OverBoard Waterproof Phone Cases ($24.95 and up)
OverBoard sells various waterproof phone cases in two different colors (aqua and black) and three different sizes (small, large and one case specifically for smartphones). The smartphone case, which is submersible up to 19 feet underwater, is compatible with iPhones and Blackberrys, and lets you use your phone as normal.

Otterbox specializes in waterproof cases for a variety of devices. Android users who plan on submerging themselves up to 100 feet underwater should consider the 2000 series case (pictured).
