I love this product! Due to extemely high readings at my doctor's office along with other symptoms of hypertension I was told I had to get a monitor of my own and do daily readings. Because this product stores the last 60 readings my doctor was able to see the drop in my blood pressure. He took my pressure in his office with my cuff as well as taking it with his cuff. It is accurate to my cardiologists monitor. I was able to also see that I have "white coat" high blood pressure. When I am at home it is so much lower than when I am in a doctors office. Buy it -- it really works!! The price is also great. My local Rite-Aid had the same one for $99.00. Great price andOmron HEM-711 DLX Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor with Comfit Cuff great product!!

I'm Satisfied, November 16, 2009

I bought this product because I wanted to check my blood pressure in the privacy & comfort of my home. I wanted something that was simple to use, yet accurate. I think this product fulfilled my expectations. I like the fact that it stores my previous readings and that they're so simple to access. When I went in for my yearly physical, I told my doctor I had purchased a blood pressure monitor. She asked me if it was an 'Omron' brand because they're supposed to be highly accurate. I told her it was. The price was fair -- and cheaper than Wal-Mart's price. All in all, a good deal!

good stuff., November 11, 2009
Works well. Huge range in price, depending where you buy it. Amazon was cheaper than national stores.
Big Readout.....Second Of Two Omron Units, November 9, 2009

I own an Omron wrist style BP monitor that I have already left an excellent review for. I decided to supplement my other monitor with this model, for even though I have been vigorously exercising for the last year my BP readings have continued to be rather erratic lately. And I decided that I would enjoy having a built in second opinion in the house. Unfortunately this unit is showing my BP to be generally higher most of the time than the wrist monitor. Not a big difference. But when you already have high blood pressure, little differences can mean a lot. I feel this unit is the most accurate of the two for it operates exactly like the doctors does. The wrist monitor inflates and continues to inflate until it shuts off. This unit operates like the doctors does in that it is inflated to a high level and then slowly bled till the result is displayed. I feel there is a reason why the doctors office always seems to use such a system. Its because its the best way to measure BP. This Omron unit should be all the BP monitor one should ever need. Its very easy to use, and very easy to read. (I opened mine when it arrived and was able to take my BP without reading any instructions. But I suggest you do, and familiarize yourself with it). The cuff is easily rolled around your arm. (If you're a man, or anyone that is overweight, buy this model with the bigger cuff, then you won't have to be worried about it fitting). One thing I didn't find mentioned in the other reviews I sifted through is the large size of the readout screen. Its very BIG, much bigger than it appears in the picture. Its very easy for anyone, even someone with very bad eyes to read easily. If you are serious about your blood pressure, or just have high BP and wish to monitor it accurately, I suggest this unit as the very best and professional one available for a reasonable price. The wrist monitor gives an accurate reading as well, but is better for the person on the go, or enjoys the obvious convenience of of it. Highly recommended...

Very Disappointed, November 7, 2009
I recently purchased this product based on its good reviews. The other day I took it to my cardiologist and found that the Systolic Pressure is way off. Now I can pack it up and send to Omron to get fixed which means I won't have it for another 2 weeks. My health issues are very recent and I am trying to cope but something like this doesn't help!
