St. Ives recently revamped its product line, and Intensive Healing Body Cream was one of several new products it unveiled. The cream is sold as both a body cream (in a 7.5 oz. bottle) and a hand cream (in a 3 oz. bottle), though the two formulas are the same, containing olive leaf extract, cranberry seed oil and grape seed oil, which are said to heal and protect skin. St. Ives accomplishes both with this smart formula that includes both emollients and antioxidants, says Paula Beguon, beauty expert and founder of the site Beautypedia.com. "This is an excellent lotion for the price." The cream is praben-, pthalate- and fragrance-free. It is recommended for users with sensitive skin or eczema. Users say they especially like the product for rough patches and winter skin.
Besides Paula Beguon's review on Beautypedia.com, St. Ives Intensive Healing Body Cream is also selected by Health magazine as one of America's Healthiest Buys in 2010, where it was awarded the title of best lotion. We also found just a few user reviews, mostly at Drugstore.com. They praise the product both as a hand cream and a body cream. While all of St. Ives Intensive Healing Body Cream's reviews are positive, there simply isn't enough feedback on this relatively new product to award it a spot on our Best Reviewed list.
St. Ives Intensive Healing Body Cream earns a Paula's Pick from beauty expert Paul Beguon. Beguon says the lotion is good for dry or sensitive skin, and it offers emollients and antioxidants. For the price, she says this is a very good, effective lotion.

St. Ives Intensive Healing Body Cream is reviewed on Drugstore.com as both a body cream and a hand cream (the formulas are the same). Combined, there aren't many reviews, but they are overwhelmingly positive. It does receive one 3-star review, though the reviewer doesn't say anything particularly negative; the remaining reviews are all 4 and 5 stars.
