The Kenmore name doesn't have the cachet of some luxury brands, but reviewers say it outperforms both the Dyson DC21 Stowaway (*est. $500) and the Miele S4210 Carina (*est. $400). If the Intuition's $500 price tag is too steep, the Hoover WindTunnel Bagless S3765-040 (*est. $250) tests exceptionally well for its price range, especially on bare floors, but the Hoover is noisier, isn't as good with emissions and isn't as effective at digging up pet hair.
