The most reliable review of the SEBO Air Belt C3.1 can be found at Consumer Reports magazine, which includes this bagging canister vacuum in its latest roundup of the category, in which 22 canisters are tested on their ability to clean carpet and bare floors. The SEBO is also the subject of less scientific reviews by AllergyBuyersClub.com and ConsumerGuide.com, and it receives some comments from owners posting to Epinions.com.

Experts and owners agree that the SEBO Air Belt C3.1 canister vacuum cleans as well as the best canister vacuums, especially on bare floors. It also has desirable, high-tech features like fingertip controls placed on the telescoping wand. This canister vacuum is also said to be unusually quiet (except on the highest power setting). Altogether, the SEBO Air Belt C3.1 cleans well, but it's a poor value, especially when cheaper vacuums like the Hoover WindTunnel Bagless S3765-040 (*est. $250) can also clean well.

2. Allergy Buyers Club.com

This retail site does well at pointing out the pros and cons of the vacuums it sells. Although this write-up does a nice job describing features and performance of the SEBO C3.1 Air Belt, the vacuum isn't compared to others. Since this website also sells the SEBO canister, its ratings may not be totally objective.

3. Epinions.com

Just under a dozen owners posting at Epinions.com give the SEBO Air Belt C3.1 canister vacuum a high average score. Unfortunately, there aren't enough user reviews here to glean much of an overall owner opinion.

4. ConsumerGuide.com

Frustratingly, although some reviews by ConsumerGuide.com appear to be based on actual testing, others seem to come from marketing materials supplied by the manufacturer. This review of the SEBO C3.1 is in the latter category, though the writer does point out that this vacuum is fairly expensive.
