The Chicco KeyFit Caddy has the best customer reviews of any car seat stroller frame available. It's not the most versatile, since it's compatible only with two Chicco infant car seats, the KeyFit 22 (*Est. $180) and KeyFit 30 (*Est. $190). These are great car seats, however, so if you have one and want a car seat stroller frame, this is the one to choose.
Safe as they come. Chicco KeyFit infant car seats fit solidly and securely on the frame of the KeyFit Caddy, snapping in with the same technology used in the seat base that stays in the car. There are no reports of loose connections, wobbly seats or wheels, or any issue that would compromise a rider's safety. The rear brakes are individually activated.
Very user-friendly. Everything on the KeyFit Caddy is easy to use, from the quick, one-handed fold to the one-step attachment of the Chicco infant car seat. At just 11 pounds, it's lightweight, and easy to lift and carry. It has a standing fold and automatically locks when folded. Owners say it's a cinch to push and maneuver.
Will fit any lifestyle. Car seat stroller frames are often recommended for suburban parents who drive everywhere. They're generally not great for long outings, such as walking many blocks or visits to the zoo or park, because of their small wheels and lack of suspension. However, the Chicco KeyFit Caddy may be the exception. Its all-wheel suspension makes for a comfortable ride for baby, and the adjustable handle is a great feature for parents of various heights. The KeyFit Caddy folds compactly, and folding down the handle makes an even smaller footprint.
The KeyFit Caddy comes equipped with a parent tray with two cup holders. Its underseat basket is accessible from the front with a zipper, and the back has a basket extension for larger items.
A reputation for good service. According to expert reviews, Chicco has a solid track record when it comes to customer service. The KeyFit Caddy carries an industry standard one-year warranty.
