The Graco MetroLite Travel System teams the popular Graco SnugRide infant car seat with the highly rated MetroLite stroller. Besides performing well in safety tests, this travel system offers a height-adjustable handle, a multi-position recline, and a convertible three- or five-point harness. However, the Chicco KeyFit infant car seat now beats the Graco SnugRide in tests for safety and ease of use, and reviews say the stroller that comes with the Chicco Cortina Travel System (*Est. $300) travel system is just as full-featured and easy to use as the MetroLite stroller -- making the Cortina the new favorite travel system in reviews. You could also skip the travel system and opt for a lightweight stroller frame instead, and then purchase a stroller later on when your child outgrows the car seat. The top-rated Baby Trend Snap-N-Go stroller frame (*Est. $80) is compatible with most infant car seat brands (including the Chicco KeyFit), and the Graco SnugRider (*Est. $70) is designed for Graco infant car seats.
The book "Baby Bargains" and ConsumerReports.org both review the Graco MetroLite stroller and the SnugRide car seat. We also found reviews of the Graco MetroLite Travel System or stroller at Baby-Gaga.com, Amazon.com, ConsumerGuide.com and LilaGuide.com.
