Like other ProHeat models, this carpet cleaner includes a built-in heater, rotating brushes and a 12-amp motor. It also has a dryer function that blows air (like a hairdryer) to help dry the carpet. The CleanShot feature dispenses an extra squirt of cleaning fluid for tough stains. Users posting reviews to retailer websites almost unanimously agree that the Bissell does a great job cleaning carpets, but we did read several complaints about breakdowns and weak suction. Users also find the small tank inconvenient, and a few report that the CleanShot 9500 actually damaged their carpets-- either by leaving dirty streaks behind or by pulling out too many carpet fibers.
