Because cats will have to eat more to meet their protein needs, reviews indicate that the lower price of Purina ONE offers a false savings over premium dry foods like Wellness Complete Health Deboned Chicken, Chicken Meal and Rice Recipe (*Est. $19 for a 5.14-lb. bag). Still, with 34 percent protein, Purina ONE Chicken and Rice Formula is a better choice than other inexpensive dry foods.
