Many critics consider the Samsung SCH-i760 to be the best smartphone for Verizon subscribers. A large, vibrant touchscreen sets the 760's display apart from that of many rivals, while a full QWERTY keyboard is hidden beneath the traditional phone keyboard. The Samsung SCH-i760 also sports Bluetooth connectivity and integrated Wi-Fi. The 760's 400-MHz processor powers a Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system. Reviewers say that phone performance is generally good and the Samsung SCH-i760 is an especially good choice for business use. For those on tighter budgets, the Palm Centro (*est. $100 with a two-year service contract) offers solid performance and a decent feature lineup. In addition to Verizon, the phone is available to AT&T and Sprint subscribers.

The Samsung SCH-i760 doesn't get as much press as some rivals, but there are still a number of good reviews for this smartphone. Perhaps the best is CNET, where editors test the smartphone thoroughly and outline the results in a detailed but easy-to-read review. Laptop and PCMag.com also offer good standalone reviews for the SCH-i760, as does Brighthand.com. User reviews from Amazon.com aren't quite as reliable, but can highlight a few issues not always revealed in short-term expert testing.
