The 1 - touch Weber grill, November 1, 2009

While this grill does an excellent job of cooking various meals I now wish I had foreseen the following: 1 - no side table to place the food both before and after cooking 2 - no place to hang your barbecue utensils 3 - the lid has no hinge meaning you have to set the cover aside every time you need access 4 - assembly was not so easy However, in its' defense, the meats I've barbecued have come out excellent! Very thourough and evenly cooked food. All in all, for the price it's a decent bargain.

Still a Great Barbecue!, October 12, 2009

I got one of these almost thirty years ago as a wedding gift. After using it for ten years we switched to a gas barbecue for the convenience. After wearing out three gas units, we have purchased a new Weber and love it. It is easy to use, inexpensive, and the food tastes much better with a charcoal barbecue. They improved the intake vent setup and ash pan from our original model. Other than that it is the same and works just as well.

Best Grill, October 5, 2009

Everyone needs to buy a Weber grill there is nothing that compares to the construction and quality of one. This is my first Weber that I have purchased for myself after moving into a new house and not being able to use my parents who also have a Weber. I would recommend this brand to anyone. Charcoal is such a better method to cooking food so why would anyone want a gas grill. The 22.5 inch grill has plenty of room for burgers and brats and is really easy to use.

Missing pieces and No response from customer service, October 4, 2009

This is the 5th Weber we have purchased for a gift - unfortunately the Ash Catcher was missing from the shipment we received. We contacted customer service via e-mail with a copy of the assembly instructions identifying the missing part. We never received a response. Fortunately we were able to locate and purchase the missing part from a local store and able to complete our gift. The product itself is great. Just disappointed with the lack of follow up by Amazon

Great product!, September 17, 2009

The Weber Silver One-Touch Grill is a great product. I have owned the grill for five years with no problems. The ash catcher can be annoying in breezy or windy days as ash does pretty much go everywhere. It is very simple to regulate the heat and control the burn. I would definately recommend getting the charcoal starter chimney for fast and easy lighting of the charcoal. Although the legs and wheels may not seem very substantial, they have held up admirably thus far. Cooking with charcoal may be more work and a bit messy (ashes), but the flavor is second to none! I would recommend a charcoal grill for anyone who has not grilled much before since its hard to really ruin a piece of meat....seems many novices go crazy with their gas grills and overcook/burn just about everything.
