The GE Profile DPSE810EGWT electric dryer scores highly with professional reviewers for its impressive lineup of features. Even though the GE dryer has an affordable price, it includes a stainless-steel drum, moisture sensor, removable drying rack and 20 drying cycles. At 7 cubic feet, there's plenty of room for a family's worth of clothes, and even bulky items such as blankets and comforters. One negative cited by reviewers is the dryer's old-school look, including dial controls, but we found the most complaints about the lint filter. Users say the filter is flimsy or doesn't fit well, so lint doesn't get trapped very well. If you have a gas hookup, the GE Profile DPSE810GGWT (Discontinued) is the gas version of this dryer. Though the price is higher than the electric model, operating costs should be lower for most people.

The best professional review for the GE Profile DPSE810EGWT electric dryer can be found at ConsumerReports.org. The magazine isn't long on discussion, and some clothes dryers in the most recent update are discontinued, but ratings are fair, balanced and based on hands-on testing. User reviews can also be found at ConsumerReports.org, as well as at some retailer sites such as BestBuy.com, AJMadison.com and HomeDepot.com.
