LG dryers get great feedback for overall satisfaction, and that includes the LG DLG2526W Gas Dryer. This dryer has a capacity of 7.0 cubic feet, which, while not the largest, is large enough for most families. Some upscale, and even some lower-priced, dryers have more convenience features -- for example, the DLG2526W doesn't come with a drying rack -- but all of the essentials are here. This dryer can be stacked, installed as a free-standing unit or mounted on a pedestal. Reports indicate that the DLG2526W is fast, quiet and easy to use. If you don't have a gas hookup, an electric version, the LG DLE2516W Electric Dryer (Discontinued), is even less expensive, though energy costs could be higher over the long term. The LG DLG2526W is still listed on LG's website, but it's no longer available at many stores that previously had it in stock. With its great lineup of features, the GE Profile DPSE810GGWT Gas Dryer (Discontinued) is a good alternative.

The LG DLG2526W Gas Dryer is included in a review at ConsumerReports.org. The site doesn't test gas dryers any longer because performance is so similar to the electric counterparts, but the gas dryer is still rated on several criteria. User opinions can be found at sites such as BestBuy.com, AJ Madison.com and Epinions.com. J.D. Power and Associates doesn't rate the LG DLG2526W directly, but does report on customer impressions of the brand.
