Few comfort bikes receive more rave reviews in 2011 than the Breezer Uptown Infinity. If you want a comfort bike with all the bells and whistles -- and are willing to pay for it -- reviewers say this is the bike for you. The most notable component is the NuVinci N360 internal hub, which provides nearly an infinite number of gears that can be adjusted with a simple twist of the wrist. Reviewers say the Breezer Uptown Infinity has very precise shifting performance, and it provides a huge range of gears to meet a variety of conditions. Experts also appreciate the numerous commuting accessories, including a headlight and taillight, fenders, rear rack, bell, ring lock and chain guard. The ride is plush and comfortable, and Breezer offers the Uptown Infinity in a women's step-through model. However, the 35-pound bike is no speed demon, so experts recommend it for short commutes or leisurely rides around town. The hefty price tag is also cited as a downside, but reviewers say the Breezer Uptown Infinity is a solid investment. If your budget is tighter, the Trek Belleville (MSRP: $690) has many of the same bells and whistles at a lower price.

The Breezer Uptown Infinity is covered in a number of professional reviews. The best analysis comes from Wired, Bicycling magazine, Men's Journal and the Los Angeles Times. These sources conduct extensive hands-on tests and -- in some cases -- rate the bike against its competitors. Canada's Momentum magazine includes the Breezer Uptown Infinity in its latest gear guide, although the review is brief.
