Nice and useful, November 18, 2009
The straps are great. Not to tight and not to loose, but good grip and you can tie them to the cable so they don't get lost.
not bad, November 13, 2009

not a bad mouse but nothing to boost about. good for surfing the web but not for actual works that require plenty of mouse works. I in fact return to my regular cord microsoft optical mouse when massive use of clicking and gliding required. try to get use to its gliding on the table surface for a month and still have difficulty. decided to just use it at home, instead of at work. like that tiny adapter that doesn't stick out. good for travel and light use, I think.

A great little notebook mouse, November 12, 2009

The Logitech VX Nano is smaller than a typical mouse and comes with zippered cloth protective case. The USB adapter is tiny and can be left full time in any usb port. Or, it can be stored in its compartment inside the mouse's battery tray. A button on the bottom lets the user turn off the mouse to conserve battery power, but I haven't noticed unusually short battery life, even leaving it on full time. Installation with the included software is a snap. The mouse has various buttons and a scroll wheel that can be customized for various functions such as right or left handed clicking, page forward and back, open new window, and others. Once the software is installed, you can access the mouse controls from the computer's control panel. I've been using this mouse for about a year, and I really like it.

Long term product review, November 12, 2009

I have 2 of the VX nano mice (or is it mouses??). I have used the initial one for ~2 years & bought the 2nd for a 2nd laptop. In my experience they are the greatest "set & forget" laptop gadgets going. After breaking a number of "non-nano" transceivers, I wanted a USB device I didn't have to remove every time I decided to move my laptop. Enter the "Nano". Works great, but, wish it had more buttons. BUT lately, the initial device I bought (2 years old now), decided that when I LEFT CLICKED that what I really wanted was a DOUBLE CLICK. To be fair, this doesn't happen every time I LEFT CLICK, but enough it is really an issue. So, I guess, for me the limit for the useful life for me is 2 years. But given the usefulness of the device for the time that it worked, was a positive. Even after this problem, I would purchase another "nano" without hesitation, which is what I will be doing after writing this review. BTW: My 2nd NANO is working just fine after a year or so.

Great little mouse, November 12, 2009

This mouse works very well on most surfaces. I've only had issues with the mouse skipping around the screen on high gloss surfaces and the browsing backwards/forwards buttons is in odd spot (must use your index finger instead of thumb to press) but I'm sure I can get used to it. Otherwise it is very handy, compact, mouse with an impressive design for storing the USB receiver. The storage pouch was an added bonus.

1. HardwareCentral.com

HardwareCentral.com's review of the Logitech VX Nano is among the most complete we've found. The most impressive part of Eric Grevstad's write-up is the extensive testing and great attention to detail. Ratings for features, performance and value, as well as an overall score, are provided. Likes and dislikes are clearly explained. One negative with HardwareCentral.com is that the site is a little harder to navigate than some.

2. CNET

CNET doesn't compare with HardwareCentral.com when it comes to the depth of its discussion. However, important points are covered and the site reviews far more mice overall. Ratings are given, and the very best mice get an Editors' Choice award. Few rise to that level, but the Logitech VX Nano makes the grade. Users can also weigh in with their opinions.

3. EverythingUSB.com

Reviews at EverythingUSB.com don't have the depth of those at HardwareCentral.com, and the site does not cover as many computer mice as CNET, nor provide ratings or rankings. What it does provide is a clearly written, easy-to-digest report that leaves no doubt in the reader's mind about McGlaun's opinion of the VX Nano.

4. Amazon.com

Following more than 650 reviews, customers posting reviews at Amazon.com by and large love the Logitech VX Nano. Many state flat out that it is the best notebook mouse they have seen or used. Among the very few complaints, a couple of users said that they had great difficulty removing the USB transceiver from their laptop.
