Logitech G51

I ordered these so I could finally have a 5.1 setup for my PC at home and it sounds amazing no matter what, whether I'm playing games or listening to music. My only complaint is that the speakers do not… really get that loud at all in my opinion, I mean it will do I guess, but the old Creative 2.1 speakers that I had for a very long time before I ordered these were much louder with good audio quality. Overall its a great product and it was packaged very well, but just wish that the speakers could get louder.

The system requirements state that this item is compatable with pc and mac. I am a mac user and once I received the item I found out it is not compatable with Mac. Your computer must have 6 audio outputs… to accomodate each speaker. Mac has never made a computer with this many outputs so I don't know why they claim it to be Mac compatable...nor do I know why anyone would ever have to have 6 outputs for an audio system on there computer. This product was poorly designed and poorly describe...it is antiquated...Amazon would let me return the item either and in fact they never responded to my request about this matter...Do not purchase this itme...

I bought my G51 system used, so I was worried about any defects or problems, but there were none, other than the box it was shipped in being very dinged up. The G51 sounds amazing...a huge step up from the… older 4.1 Creative I was using. It's not top-of-the-line, but it's the best you can get for being in the $150 range. I love using the Music matrix mode to put music over all my speakers...makes it sound so much better. However, I don't use the Gaming mode at all, even though I play plenty of videogames. Sometimes voices will be cut out because it's ignoring the center channel, and most of time, like in TF2, it just sounds weird and too amplified using the Gaming mode. It sounds just fine in the normal mode though.
