For comparisons of condom strength, we consulted Consumer Reports magazine, which (in its most recent report) blew up various brands of condoms until they exploded. We also read the top 10 list at the retailer/reviewer BuyCondom.com, which combines editorial opinion with user feedback, and a negative evaluation of Trojan Extended Pleasure condoms at Maxim magazine, reprinted at CondomDepot.com.
Trojan condoms are often rated equally with rival, Durex. While Durex also makes a climax-control condom, the Durex Performax (*est. $13 for box of 12), reviewers prefer Trojan Extended Pleasure condoms, which they say work as advertised. The lubricant for this condom contains benzocaine, a mild numbing agent meant to decrease sensitivity. If climax control isn't a major issue, you may prefer Durex Extra Sensitive condoms (*est. $13 for box of 12), the favorite ultra-thin condom of reviewers.
