When reviewing nonstick cookware brands, we found the most recommendations for the pricey Swiss Diamond cookware (*Est. $450 for a 10-piece set) . However, Anolon Advanced gets the strongest combination of reviews from professionals and users. The most common problem with nonstick cookware in general is that the nonstick coating begins to wear off after a few months or years of use. However, with Anolon Advanced, we saw very few reports of this problem. This cookware is also praised for its even heating, great nonstick properties and easy cleanup. It is also oven-safe to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Its drawbacks are its relatively high price (for nonstick cookware) and the fact that, like most nonstick brands, it can't go in a dishwasher. If you want nonstick but have less to spend, consider the budget-priced Rachael Ray Hard-Anodized Cookware (*Est. $170) .
Anolon Advanced is included in the latest tests of cookware sets at ConsumerReports.org. It is also one of four nonstick cookware lines recommended by Good Housekeeping. More than 200 user reviews at Macys.com and Amazon.com confirm its durability. The user reviews provide as much, if not more, insight into the major flaws and highlights of this cookware set.
