Best Camera, November 14, 2009
This camera is the best camera I have ever owned. I have had it for over a year now and it operates as if it were brand new. I will always buy canon's from now on. The pictures on this camera are great.
Canon SD1200 10MP, November 12, 2009
Purchased to replace a stolen Canon, different model. Construction is light so it seems flimsy but the pictures look great, it's pretty easy to use, and can't beat the size for portability.
Excellent Camera, November 9, 2009

I absolutely loved my Canon SD1100 IS. I had it for over a year and I hardly ever had any issues with it. I definitely got a great camera for the price when I purchased it. I had previously owned a Panasonic camera I had purchased for approximately $200 and it didn't have anywhere near the features that the SD1100 did. The Panasonic didn't even have an optical zoom. My only issue with the SD1100 is the poor picture quality in low-light settings without a flash, but, then again, it's not a professional quality camera. Unfortunately, it was stolen this weekend while I was out on the town with some friends and in looking to replace it, I was flabbergasted that it is selling for almost $400. I bought it for $160 last year! I'm going to upgrade to the SD1200 IS and I'm hoping that it delivers on par with the SD1100.

Amaing Camera!, November 5, 2009

I have had this camera for a long time and have loved it all the way through.here is my list of pros and cons: Pros, Small Lightweight great image quality and scenes good quality zoom has a viewfinder takes sd cards takes timelapse video(ultra fast forward) Cons, not the coolest looking camera the screen is smaller than normal weak flash(for faraway shots) zoom during video can get grainy. My conclusion. In the end i find this camera doing everything in a point and shoot.

3. PCMag.com

PC Magazine's digital camera reports don't offer nearly as many details as those found at enthusiast-oriented sites, but they still do a credible job of discussing the most important topics. David Gussman rates the Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS very highly and calls it a "capable" camera for people taking snapshots, but he likes its predecessor -- the Canon PowerShot SD1000 IS -- a hair better.

Consumer Reports does a solid job in testing cameras, looking for most of the important factors shoppers should consider. Even though the test results include ratings, discussion about individual ultra-compact digital cameras is limited.
