The 15-inch Pandigital PAN150 photo frame receives glowing reviews for its image quality and its impressive size, but it's expensive for a digital photo frame. It accepts a wide variety of memory cards and USB drives for loading photos. The Pandigital frame comes with a remote control and two interchangeable faceplates (cherry wood and black), and it can be wall-mounted if desired. The frame doesn't have wireless connectivity, but reviewers say it's still easy to use. It can also play music and video, and it even supports playing music as an alarm clock. Reviews find a few minor annoyances such as tinny-sounding speakers -- typical of digital photo frames -- and occasional glitches with videos, image cropping and the display. Some owners report early breakdowns, but most reviews say the main drawback is the price.

We found excellent comparison reviews of the Pandigital PAN150 digital photo frame at CNET, USA Today and PC World. Only about a dozen owners rate and review this frame at Amazon.com, but some of these detailed comments are well worth studying -- if only to save time solving the same technical problems.

3. PC World

4. Amazon.com

A dozen owners review the Pandigital PAN150, giving it a low average rating and noting some drawbacks other reviews miss -- such as a small viewing angle and odd cropping of images. The frame's menus and controls can be tricky to use, and some owners warn that the 90-day warranty is too short.
