We found excellent comparison reviews of the Pandigital PAN150 digital photo frame at CNet, USA Today, and PC World. Only about a dozen owners rate and review this frame at Amazon.com, but some of these detailed comments are well worth studying – if only to save some time solving the same technical problems.
The 15-inch Pandigital PAN150 photo frame receives glowing reviews for its image quality and its impressive size, but it's expensive for a digital photo frame. It accepts a wide variety of memory cards and USB drives for loading photos. The Pandigital frame comes with a remote control and two interchangeable faceplates (cherry wood and black), and it can be wall-mounted if desired. The frame doesn't have wireless connectivity, but reviewers say it's still easy to use. It can also play music and video, and it even supports playing music as an alarm clock. Reviews find a few minor annoyances such as tinny-sounding speakers -- typical of digital photo frames -- and occasional glitches with videos, image cropping and the display. Some owners report early breakdowns, but most reviews say the main drawback is the price. If it's too expensive or you prefer wireless connectivity, then reviews recommend the Kodak EasyShare wireless frames, including the EX811 (*est. $140).

The Pandigital PAN150 frame earns a relatively low rating of 6.5 out of 10, losing a lot of points for poor video playback. The reviewer finds the remote control awkward, but he praises every aspect of the Pandigital's ability to display photos.
Review: Pandigital 15-inch Digital Photo Frame, Phillip Ryan, July 26, 2007
This reviewer compares the Pandigital PAN150 with the Ceiva eight-inch and Kodak EasyShare EX811 digital frames, noting its "much more vibrant" picture quality -- and its higher price. The review notes some minor annoyances, though, such as having to use a screwdriver to connect the power cord.
Review: Digital Photo Frames -- Pleasing But Costly, Edward C. Baig, July 11, 2007
This brief review recommends the 15-inch Pandigital frame, saying its large display "screams to be established as a centerpiece in your living room." The Kodak EasyShare frame is recommended if wireless connectivity is important, but the reviewer finds the Pandigital frame's remote control superior.
