Most reviewers agree that while the Pandigital PAN7000DW may have some shortcomings, overall it is a good value for the money and does exactly what it sets out to do -- display digital photos clearly and crisply. Adding to the value factor, the PAN7000DW also supports AVI video and MP3 music files. The 7-inch display has a relatively high 880-pixel-by-60-pixel resolution especially when compared to other budget-priced frames. The PAN7000DW displays photos in 4:3 aspect ratio, which is the default ratio for most point and shoot cameras. Some users, however, report that their shots get cut off.

The Pandigital PAN7000DW frame has 1 GB of built-in memory, which the manufacturer claims will hold up to 6,400 compressed photos. The problems cited seem to be more with setup and interface than with the functionality as a digital photo frame. Some Amazon.com users report problems with viewing angles and one reviewer says that "photos look washed out if viewed from above and the side, or too dark if viewed from below." Although the frame claims Wi-Fi functionality, a separate adapter is required to use that feature.
