Despite the flood of under-$100 digital photo frames on the market, reviewers don't often include inexpensive models in tests. However, Philips photo frames in general get good reviews. This frame doesn't have fancy features like audio and video playback, but most owners appreciate that it is easy to use. One big improvement is that most current Philips frames, including the 7-inch Philips 7FF3FPB, have a random-playback feature, so you're not stuck viewing photos in the same order. There's no wireless feature. You can store a couple of photos in the Philips frame's 10 MB memory, but the best way to load pictures is by hooking it up to your computer or by inserting a memory card loaded with pictures. This frame comes in black or white.

User reviews at Amazon.com are the best measure of the Philips 7FF3FPB digital photo frame. ConsumerReports.org includes a similar Philips frame in its latest report, the larger 8-inch version.

Our Sources

1. Amazon.com

About 50 owners have rated the Philips 7FF3FPB at Amazon.com. These ratings are the best way to measure performance since professional reviewers don't spend much time covering frames that cost less than $100. Most owners are happy with this frame, especially considering the price, but there are complaints about image quality and that you have resize photos first in order to fit the frame (a complaint common to most digital frames).
