My Father's Gift, March 5, 2009
I got this for my father for his birthday. He just moved six hours away. This was a really good, thoughtful gift. He loved it. I love it too! Easy to use. Picture quality could be a little better. It was decent though.
Not worth, December 29, 2008
The resolution is very low and its not worth the price. The digital frame of another brand which cost me less than this gives better resolution than this one. Not recommended.
Excellent, December 4, 2008
It works great. I keep in on my desk and have about 200 photos on my memory card. That is the only thing I did not like, I had to buy a new memory card but for the price I could not expect them to give me one with the frame.

A+ Overall
Horrible. If only I had read the reviews..., November 27, 2008

Horrible. If only I had read the reviews...I would never have purchased this item. Let me start by saying I work in technology, so I know what quality and simplicity should look like. I was hoping for a fair quality, simple to use picture frame to give to a moderately computer savvy relative for Xmas. Reasons not to buy this: -Display quality is poor: Mine came with several pixels dead, right out of the box. -Navigation is awful: The buttons are on the back, and you have to look at the front to see the menus as they change. You end up feeling around back there...its not good. -On Board Memory is useless: It contains sample photos that cannot be deleted (the infamous baby from other reviews) and which continually display along with your photos in the slideshow. -Widescreen Display is awful: If you are scanning old 4:3 aspect ratio family pictures into this 16:9 ratio frame, you get two choices: diplay them with black bars to the sides or stretch and distort them. Neither is terribly attractive. After two hours of scan then crop of the family photos, I put this thing back in the box, and bought one of the kodak easyshare frames. In summary, I would not recommend this device to anyone who is not an expert at manipulating photos, and even then be ready for the time commitment. Update: The kodak easy share frame is working out great! Highly recommended as an alternative. Kodak EasyShare P720 Digital Picture Frame with Home Decor Kit

Don't waste your money, October 15, 2008
I went through the reviews for this item and thought it was OK to buy at this price. At the same time i also ordered Kodak 8'' photo frame. Once i inserted the SD card and start looking photos. The quality of this frame was very poor compare to other. I would add 30 dollar more and buy a better one. Its going to be there life time showing my pictures on the quality that i am not satisfied with.

1. Amazon.com

About 50 owners have rated the Philips 7FF3FPB at Amazon.com. These ratings are the best way to measure performance since professional reviewers don't spend much time covering frames that cost less than $100. Most owners are happy with this frame, especially considering the price, but there are complaints about image quality and that you have resize photos first in order to fit the frame (a complaint common to most digital frames).
