100% Failure (3 out of 3), November 2, 2009

I bought 3 of these frames in November of 2007 for Christmas gifts. There are many positives about this frame, from it's 800x600 resolution to it's price point (at the time). However, over the last 6… months (April 2009 to October 2009) all 3 have failed. The failure mode is exactly the same with all 3, you power up the frame and the display just does not come on and displays a random bunch of horizontal lines. The issue has to do with reading from the SD/MMC/CF/USB slots/ports because the frame works fine if I remove the card or usb key from it and power it up. However, this means you cannot actually put any images on cards and display them. 100% failure in 3 frames.

Great except the constant buzzing noise., October 10, 2009

Good picture quality, the menu leaves a lot to be desired. After about 2 months of having the product the picture frame makes a constant buzzing noise...It's enough to drive any sane person mad.

Fun while it lasted, July 22, 2009

Had it two years, constantly displaying a slide show from a 1gb SD. It looked and worked great! Then one day a white screen. Turned it off for a bit, and then on again. There was no response at all - the unit was dead, and all attempts at revival failed. I agree with other reviewers: don't buy it unless you're willing to gamble on a short lifespan.

Great frame and it shows the full picture, June 28, 2009

I bought this frame because it was a high resolution 4:3 ratio display at a great price. My first recommendation to anyone is NOT to get a widescreen (16:9) frame. Most digital camera pictures are in a 4:3 and this frame shows them without stretching or cropping them. There are a lot of options, but I simply like a frame to show a picture slideshow and this does it very nicely.
