The big difference is price: Biokleen is one of the least expensive detergents (eco-friendly or otherwise) discussed in this report, and many users are pleasantly surprised by how many loads they can get out of the 32-ounce canister. We did find a handful of complaints that this powdered detergent can leave a white residue, in which case users suggest using less detergent or adding a tablespoon of vinegar as a rinse aid.
