Best tandem-style double stroller
- Reversible, fully reclining rear seat
- Compatible with infant seats
- Ample storage
- Heavy
- Hard to steer on rough terrain
- Complicated harness
The Graco Quattro Tour Duo has become a top-rated tandem stroller (with the two seats situated one in front of the other) in both professional and user reviews. What sets the Graco double stroller apart is its flexible infant-friendly seating. It can be used with infant car seats, and the rear seat reclines fully for newborns or napping toddlers. Both seats can face forward, with the rear seat slightly higher for better visibility. The back seat can also be spun around to face Mom or Dad. This isn't a luxury tandem stroller, though. At close to three times the price, the Bumbleride Indie Twin (*Est. $660) offers improved maneuverability even on rough terrain. If your older child just needs the occasional ride, the Joovy Caboose Ultralight (*Est. $240) weighs just over half as much. The Joovy resembles a single stroller with a rear running board for an older child to sit or stand upon.
