Among the very best., November 19, 2009

I work for WSDOT and they issue the exact same type of earplug which inspired me to purchase a couple of boxes for myself. I found that the most important thing is to insert them *quickly* after you've rolled them down with your (clean!) fingers, otherwise you may not obtain the best fit. Also, they can be a tad large if you have smallish ear canals. But these things do an OUTSTANDING job and I have never used a foam plug which works as well as these. And they are very cheap insurance on comparison to losing some, or all, of your earsight. I would very highly recommend these to anyone.

Expensive, But Worth It!, October 17, 2009
Very effective in reducing the ambient noise for night sleep. May cause minor irritations in the ear, but other than that it is very comfortable. I've tried them all. This one is indeed the best.
EARPLUGS THAT WORK!!!, September 8, 2009
These EARPLUGs work great and are comfortable too.

Only problem is those with small ear canals may have trouble fully inserting them, thereby limiting effectiveness.
I couldn't sleep without these ear plugs., August 29, 2009
I moved to another city recently. I'm right across the street from the courthouse on a main street. Cars constantly moving. Horns getting stuck all the time. At night, street cleaners, heavy duty trucks(sounded like tanks). Then, I found these. I sleep like a baby now. Horns get stuck-I just plug my ears up again. At last, I can enjoy the beautiful mountains without all the horrible sounds.
How did I ever live without these?!, August 18, 2009

I have been using these ear plugs for the past few years, and I don't know how I got through a decade of marriage without them! My husband was quite the snorer... And I am a VERY light sleeper. The slightest little things wake me up. And I would be up alllllll night, nudging him back onto his side. His life improved, too, since he was allowed to sleep comfortably on his back without me pushing at him all night. I can now sleep through all of those little things that used to wake me, AND the snoring! I recommend combining the earplugs with the use of a fan. I keep my floor fan on, facing away, and I am in my own little blissful quiet zone. Make sure that you follow the directions for using the earplugs or they may not work properly. Advice for those who complained about the size: These generally come in three sizes. The higher the noise reduction rating, the larger the ear plug is, and more noise gets blocked out: Smallest, with lowest noise reduction (But still pretty darn good!) : NRR30 Howard Leight Maxlite Uncorded Earplugs hearing protection 200 pair Medium in size and NRR, and these are my favorites : NRR32 Howard Leight LL1 Laser Lite Uncorded Earplugs hearing protection 200 pair For larger ear canals, and with the highest NRR of this brand/style : NRR33 Howard Leight Max-1 Uncorded Earplugs 200 pair
