Guru makes 100% Natural Energy Drinks that come in five flavors: Original, Lemonade, Green Tea Honey Lemon, Superfruit and Tangerine, as well as a Lite version. Most reviewers are impressed with both the taste and the boost from these energy drinks, which contain real fruit juices, as well as herbal ingredients such as echinacea, panax ginseng and ginkgo biloba. A 12-ounce can of Original Guru contains 145 milligrams of caffeine, which it gets from guarana seed extract, and 33 grams of sugar from natural sources such as fruit juices and cane juice. At 150 calories per can, it still has fewer calories than some other energy drinks such as Rip It A'tomic Pom (260 calories per 16 oz.).

We found the best reviews for Guru 100% Natural Energy Drink on energy drink blog sites, where bloggers test and rate hundreds of formulas for taste and energy kick. BevNet.com also provides good reviews, but concentrates mainly on taste and packaging rather than on judging the products' energy boost.

4. Taurine Rules blog

The "EnergyGuru," as this blogger likes to call himself, has reviewed over 1,000 drinks on his site, most of which contain taurine. Even though Guru 100% Natural Energy Drinks contain no taurine, he is impressed with all the flavors and is surprised by the energy kick they give, with the exception of the Lite version. To him, the Lite version doesn't taste great and provides more of a feeling of well-being rather than an energy boost.
