I have had it for 8 mo. and It colapsed...., November 10, 2009

I have had expressos every day since I got this. The first unit had to be returned and replaced because it would not work. This one that I've had for 8 mo. has worked great till psat month. It won't deliver the coffee. I done everything the manual tells you to do in order to troubleshoot without resolve. I don't know where to turn. The company is in Italy but apparently like most american companies the product is manufactured in China. I want to see if they will allow me to use the 1 year warranty that they guarantee... I really like this expresso machine and wish I could replace it.... I gave it 4 starts because it has worked great and is easy to handle. Any begginer can learn who to make the most amazing Cappucinos:)...

Cheap Garbage, October 25, 2009
Worked for about 3 weeks before it started to self destruct. Extremely cheap components. Poorly designed and manufactured. If you want home espresso this won't cut it and won't last over a month. Don't waste your time or money. STAY AWAY.
give lots of problems, October 23, 2009
After 6months the 2-cups espresso filter is not working anymore, coffee does not flow. It flows with other 1-cup never used before. i am not sure it is now a pump problem or the portafilter is plug.
Not the best buy, October 11, 2009
Pump went out after a year. Never did get the type of pressure needed for good espresso. Looked nice but would not recommend.

Watery milk froth, October 6, 2009

I had this machine for 2 years and was Very happy with it until the seal in the main unit where the water tank connects broke and I found it was Not replicable. Oh Well I said, I'll get another one of these because I was So Happy with it. The first one I received made watery milk froth. No matter how I ground the beans, no matter how firmly I tamped the grounds nor how full I filled the filter, nor how long I let the steamer flow, there was Always water in the steam. Just running the frother by itself you could see the water it gave out. Amazon's great service gladly replaced the unit as I figured I just had a bad one. The replacement did the same thing, Watery steam which makes watery milk So I returned it for a refund and purchased another model. Amazon stated they would cease sales of the unit until they found out what the issue was and they would let me know when the issue was resolved and they began sales again. Well they didn't notify me they began sales again but it is available now so I ASSUME the watery steam is fixed. So this is an Excellent, Heavy duty machine IF there is no water in the steam. My new model produces steam with no water streaming from it and these Should too. So if you see water streaming with the steam, let it run several seconds and if it doesn't clear up you will have watery milk. Watery milk makes lousy froth and watery drinks. Just a warning
